My message today is a request: please read my just posted weekly column on CNN’s White House correspondent Jim Acosta.

 

The predictable reaction by the press to Acosta’s banishment by the Trump administration is grandstanding. Competent journalists know the man was not seeking information but, instead, was trying to goad the President into a confrontation.

That’s simply wrong and a disservice to the White House press corps.
