As we march ahead to another year, I'd like to thank the Factor brigades for their loyalty and effectiveness all throughout 2008. The Factor's TV ratings have never been higher, the Radio Factor is a huge success, and BillOReilly.com had a record year. Because of you, we have been able to donate hundreds of thousands of dollars to help poor children and wounded veterans. Our charity giving will reach the million dollar mark next year. Again, this is because you guys buy stuff and become Premium Members.
As for this website, it will undergo a big expansion in 2009. Because I am giving up radio in March, BillOReilly.com will become the primary information provider after television. Thus, my presence on the site will dramatically increase with press conferences, call for action programs, and breaking news information on a daily basis.
For our Premium Members, we will begin thrice-weekly "Backstage Conversations" in March. If you have questions, we will answer them almost immediately. Also, we will debut "Factor Post Game" highlights almost every night. These will be recorded immediately after the Factor is completed and will consist of me evaluating each segment so that you can continue the conversation on the message boards. The Post Game will go up about 9:10PM Eastern time and will run a couple of minutes at least.
PMs will also get further discounts on gear and first call on new items. In addition, we will have special interviews with newsmakers for both PM's and site viewers from time to time.
And that's just the beginning. Our goal in 2009 will be to provide the most informative and entertaining website in the country. We will also have a special feedback zone just for the site, so if you like or dislike something, you can let us know in real time.
From Jessica's Law to blunting attacks on Christmas to making sure American military families have what they need, Factor viewers are on the forefront of policy in this country. The combined power of the our broadcasts, website, and the millions of citizens who support us often overwhelm foolish and destructive people. This year we will have to keep a close watch on nutty professors, irresponsible judges, and dishonest politicians, so we will be very busy.
