Most of you know that I occasionally talk about the Factor's ratings with gratitude. Every week for more than eight years we've been the highest rated cable news show.

In fact, right now the Factor audience is growing. One night this month our total at 8 and 11 PM was 5.4 million viewers. More people watched us than the average for the CBS Evening News in July.

Certainly a big part is intense interest in the breaking health care story and the Factor's long-standing reputation for covering complex stories in its thorough, unique, and honest way. Another is our commitment to letting both sides be heard in any debate, including this one. That's not what you get from any other TV news media, which, as I said on the show the other night, "is simply in the tank for the president."

Along with the Factor, our colleagues on FOX News are also enjoying huge dominance over the competition, because in times like this, you folks know you can turn to us for the straight stuff. I call it "a watershed moment in media history."

We are proud to report the results of what the Factor and FOX News has achieved. And we also want you to know that none of it would be possible-none-without your resolute support.

And that is why I am here. Quite simply, to thank you.
