Is there a “ruling class” in America?  Folks who wield power over generations and pretty much run the country for themselves?  That’s what some people believe but it is bull feathers.   Yes, the wealthy families Kennedy and Bush have succeeded in politics but so have others with few resources.

Like the Army, voters generally speaking are looking for a few good men and women.  Not easy to find in this age of deceit and narcissism.  Also, Americans are divided on personal qualities - some admire the blunt talk of Donald Trump, others despise it.  Some believe Barack Obama’s criticism of America’s past was long overdo, others totally reject his historical view.

The American press has made it very difficult to really take a person’s measure.  It’s all about ideology for the media, not character.  The press rarely seeks the truth about anything, preferring to anoint individuals who reflect their political bias and attack those with whom they disagree.

The result is massive fog.  We don’t really know who our leaders are.

What we do know is that power can be achieved by those who are shrewd enough to play an effective political game.  There is no “ruling class” in the USA.  And that’s a good thing.

On another topic, tonight we’ll report on how many younger Americans have devolved into fools.  Don’t miss the No Spin News!  Thanks for checking us out.
