O’Reilly: Gen. Kelly Is Trump’s “Last Chance to Right His Administration”

On today’s No Spin News, Bill said President Trump’s new chief of staff – retired Marine General John Kelly – represented the administration’s final chance to end the chaos in the West Wing and to focus on bringing meaningful change to the country.

“This is Donald Trump’s last chance, his last chance to right his administration so that they can go forward and enact laws and policies that are good for you,” Bill said.

Bill noted that Gen. Kelly did not come from a political background and was somebody who knows how to run a complicated organization.

“Kelly was a smart hire,” Bill said. “Alright, tough guy, combat vet. Lost his son in Afghanistan, the Taliban killed his son. A patriot, no nonsense.”

Bill said that today’s removal of White House Communications Director Anthony Scaramucci was the first step in Gen. Kelly bringing changes to 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.

“The reason he is out is the new chief of staff, General John Kelly, told the president, you know, you can’t have a bomb thrower like this and run a disciplined White House, which is what Kelly was brought in to do,” Bill said.

The prime motivator for Scaramucci’s ouster, according to Bill, was his vulgarity-laced interview he recently gave to the New Yorker interview. Bill called Scaramucci’s interview “inexplicable.”

“Why would you talk to The New Yorker magazine about anything when they hate you?” Bill said.

Bill also said that Kelly’s hiring showed the world that President Trump may be now listening to at least one of his advisors more closely.

“It’s important for the country because it sends a signal for the first time that Donald Trump may be listening to Kelly, he may be listening to someone,” Bill said. “I don’t think Kelly would have taken that job if Trump didn’t assure him that he’d be listened to and Scaramucci is the first example of that.”
