By Bill O'Reilly

Incredibly, the Pakistani government has arrested five individuals who apparently helped America find bin Laden. If that isn't a slap in the face, nothing is.

As you may know, since 9/11 the USA has given Pakistan about $20 billion in aid, and all we ask that country to do -- all we ask -- is that they cooperate in hunting down terrorists. Yet Pakistan continues to not cooperate and spit in the eye of America.

The problem is our politicians don't know what to do about it. Both parties are guilty. The Bush administration wasn't successful in getting Pakistan's help, and under President Obama, Pakistan ignored bin Laden and actively avoids confronting the Taliban.

Because the economy is the overriding issue in the upcoming presidential campaign, none of the Republican candidates were asked about Pakistan on Monday night. Ron Paul did say he would not use drones to kill terrorists there.

The Pakistani problem is vexing because of the Afghan war. NATO and the USA transport supplies through Pakistan into Afghanistan. If that pipeline is shut down, the war effort suffers greatly.

In addition, China and Russia both have designs on Pakistan, and we don't want to drive that country into their orbit. So you can see the situation is a mess.

But now critical mass has been reached. You simply cannot arrest people who helped find bin Laden. That is an outrage and, again, a direct provocation to this country.

In another time, what Pakistan is doing would be considered an act of war. We would actually confront the country militarily, but not in this age.

However, President Obama must do something, and he must do it publicly. There is no way Pakistan should continue to receive American money while spitting in our eye.

What Pakistan is doing is simply unacceptable. They must pay a price.

And that's "The Memo."

Pinheads & Patriots

Eighty-nine-year-old Betty White continues to wow them.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DAVID LETTERMAN, HOST, CBS'S "LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN": The category: Betty White Tips for Living a Long and Happy Life. Here we go. No. 10.

BETTY WHITE, ACTRESS: Get at least eight hours of beauty sleep; nine if you're ugly.

LETTERMAN: No. 6.

WHITE: Avoid tweeting any photos of your private parts.

LETTERMAN: No. 4.

WHITE: Take some wheatgrass, soy paste and carob, toss in the garbage and cook yourself a big-ass piece of pork.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Still spry at that age. Betty White is a patriot.

On the pinhead front, joking with the Dalai Lama.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

KARL STEFANOVIC, TV HOST: The Dalai Lama walks into a pizza shop. Pizza?

DALAI LAMA: Pizza, yes.

STEFANOVIC: Yes, pizza shop. And says, "Can you make me one with everything?"

DALAI LAMA: Oh yes.

STEFANOVIC: Do you know what I mean?

STEFANOVIC ON "FOX & FRIENDS": And so I've got 10 minutes left and he had all these monitors around and I'm like, hey, presto, let's go for it, and that was all I had. It was lame, awful and embarrassing.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

I kind of liked it. So is Mr. Stefanovic a pinhead or a patriot? He did apologize, very humble on "Fox & Friends." Please vote on BillOReilly.com. I loved the Dalai Lama's expression. You think he's ever been in a pizza shop? Do they have them in Tibet? I do not believe they do. I could be wrong.
