By Bill O'Reilly

Well, we have some chaos Friday night, which is always fun. Nobody quite knows what our elected officials in Washington are doing and anything could happen in this hour. So I am here in New York, our pal Bret Baier is in D.C., and we may play ping-pong going back and forth with Bret as things develop. Now, we do have some taped pieces that may be interrupted by live, breaking news, so fasten your seatbelts. As I said, anything can happen.

Right now, some people say money remains the issue blocking a budget deal, how much federal spending to cut. Others say ideology is in play, that conservatives want to cut things like Planned Parenthood and Democrats do not.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIPS)

SEN. HARRY REID, D-NEV.: They can keep their word and significantly cut the federal deficit, or they can shut down America's government over women's access to health care. If that sounds ridiculous, it's because it is ridiculous.

REP. LOUISE SLAUGHTER, D-N.Y.: They are here to kill women, and it's a very difficult time for us in Washington. There is nothing in any of their bills that has anything to do about the health of the woman.

(END VIDEO CLIPS)

They are here to kill women. According to Ms. Slaughter, Republicans want American women to die. That's how insane this debate has become.

As "Talking Points" stated Thursday, the feds must stop the crazy spending. Things like Planned Parenthood and public broadcasting should be funded privately. They are not vital programs, and only vital programs should receive tax dollars because if that's not the standard, this country will go bankrupt. It's just a matter of when.

So the craziness goes on, and we are here to document it for you.

And that's "The Memo."

Pinheads & Patriots

Five-year-old Jesse Koczon, who lives in New Jersey, was giving his parents a hard time.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Why are you crying?

JESSE KOCZON, 5-YEAR-OLD WHO WANTS TO BE N.J. GOVERNOR: Because I want to be the governor and I can't.

UNIDENTIFIED FEMALE: Why can't you be the governor?

KOCZON: Because I'm too small and I wanna.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Upon seeing that video, the governor, the real governor of New Jersey, Chris Christie, made little Jesse governor for a day.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

GOV. CHRIS CHRISTIE, R-N.J.: Did you and I have a talk about property taxes?

KOCZON: Of course I did.

CHRISTIE: All right. What did I tell you?

KOCZON: Don't raise them.

CHRISTIE: And if you do raise them, what happens?

KOCZON: I'm not going to be the governor for that long.

CHRISTIE: That's right.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

So is this whole thing patriotic or idiotic, which means pinheaded? You can vote on BillOReilly.com.

Thursday night we featured Eva Longoria.

(BEGIN VIDEO CLIP)

DAVID LETTERMAN, HOST, "LATE SHOW WITH DAVID LETTERMAN": Uh, uh cilantro is Chinese…

EVA LONGORIA, ACTRESS: My button. Sorry.

LETTERMAN: Oh lord.

LONGORIA: I'm sorry. You didn't see anything.

LETTERMAN: We're going to lose our liquor license. I know it.

(END VIDEO CLIP)

Well, 76 percent of you did not appreciate Eva's posture, calling her a pinhead. Twenty-four percent believe she is a patriot.
