Alright, let's go to Colorado.

So as you all know, the state is I think the first to legalize recreational marijuana use, and it was on to the medical marijuana bandwagon a long time ago.

And now the studies are rolling in. So let's go with the fatalities on the road first. The number of drivers involved in fatal crashes in the state of Colorado who tested positive for marijuana has risen sharply each year since 2013, more than doubling in that time, federal and state data show.

2013-16 saw a 40 percent increase in the number of all drivers involved in fatal crashes in Colorado.

So, in the three years that marijuana has been legalized, 40 percent increase in fatal crashes in the Rocky Mountain state.

The number of drivers who tested positive for marijuana use in the same period of time jumped 145 percent. So do the math. Do the math. I mean, it's obvious, no doubt about it.

Those who tested positive for alcohol in fatal crashes grew 17 percent and tested positive for marijuana in fatal crashes, 88 percent.

So booze, 17 percent of fatal crashes, marijuana, 88 percent. OK.

So, now we have a situation where people are getting killed. There's no doubt.

On the social front, the percentage of Coloradans who say they use cannabis, 13 to 17 percent.

The national average is 8 percent in each state. So they're double.

Emergency room visits have risen...let me do the math here... have risen about 40 percent. Emergency room visits because of exposure to marijuana. Because remember, they sell it in candy and cookies and kids get it and all that.

Let's bring in Jeff Hunt. He's the vice president of public policy at Colorado Christian University.
