According to CBS News, there are now an estimated 5,000 largely Central American migrants on their way to the US border.  The group is growing larger every day and has managed to overwhelm Mexican authorities.  President Trump says he will use the military to stop the migrants who seek  asylum in America.

The left, of course, wants a confrontation between the military and thousands of poor Hispanics.  The news media would love that as well.  It is no accident that this mass march al norte is occurring right before the midterm election.  The unspoken hope on the lunatic left is that some migrants, especially children, will be harmed by authorities under the order of President Trump and voters will find the situation repugnant.

The organization that originated the migrant march, which began in Honduras, is Pueblo Sin Fronteras (People Without Borders). It is funded by people unknown because, being based in Honduras, it does not have to list donors.  But you can bet some of the same folks who give millions to far left organizations in the USA are involved.

The situation is awful.  There is no doubt that living in poor, violent countries is oppressive.  It is easy for the news media to report on the desperate plight of the migrants.  But America cannot accept all the poor and oppressed in the world.  Already there are millions of undocumented people in this country costing the taxpayers tens of billions of dollars.

The left has no solution to the migrant siege other than to open the borders to everyone on the planet.  Over the weekend, I listened to Joe Biden and other Democrats attack President Trump for daring to stop the orchestrated chaos.  But what would Biden do?  Allow five thousand people to apply for asylum?  And after that legions of others who would follow?

Tonight on the No Spin News, I will put forth some solutions to this incredible mess.  I’ll also analyze the political aspect to the story.  Will the migrant chaos help the Democrats or the Republicans?  Are most Americans fed up with our antiquated immigration laws?
