Donald Trump knows his life has drastically changed because of the contagion.  Just a few weeks ago, the President was confident that a strong economy and a weak opponent would almost guarantee his re-election.

 

In a symbolic blink, that has all changed.  The virus has wiped out three years of economic prosperity.

 

While Joe Biden remains largely befuddled, the pressure is squarely on Mr. Trump.  If he can guide the nation through the danger and get things back to normal by summer, he should coast to victory in November.  But if the virus persists and economic calamity descends, Donald Trump may very well be voted out.

 

So it is that the President knows he must win against the vicious sickness.  The hate Trump media understands that, too.  And it will strive to give Americans the worst news possible in order to injure President Trump.
