Krauthammer accused Donald Trump of blatant demagoguery immediately following the Republican Debate. "What Trump said about killing the brothers and sisters of terrorists was nonsensical," he opined, "but he gets away with a lot of that. He has said all kinds of things that doesn't make sense and it hasn't affected him. He basically said we should kill the relatives of terrorists and he also said we should 'shut down' parts of the Internet." Nevertheless, The Factor marveled at Trump's knack for dominating every debate: "He marginalizes everyone around him because he's so provocative in tapping into the fear and anger that is pervasive among the Republican adherents. It's good in that he is destroying a corrupt system, but it's bad in the sense that he goes too far."
