One of the advantages of high tech is that we can gather information quickly.  Thus, I watched the Los Angeles Dodgers/Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence controversy unfold six thousand miles away from my base in Ireland.

The Dodgers "honored" the anti-Christian hate group about one hour before Friday night's game with the San Francisco Giants so there were only a smattering of people inside the ballpark.

Outside, press reports say about two-thousand protestors let their feelings be known: invading churches and demeaning religious expression in America is wrong.

The Los Angeles Times and The San Francisco Chronicle both concentrated on the militant Christian demonstrators; people saying gays are going to hell, etc.  Generally speaking, the leftist press portrayed the obnoxious "Sisters" as victims and benign charity contributors.

This is standard issue for liberal enterprises like the Times and the Chronicle. Ignore parts of stories that are not flattering to the left, while demonizing conservative and traditional points-of-view. Marginalize all opposition to "woke" and far left dictums.

On Monday, when I'm back in the USA, I'll analyze the Dodger debacle in more detail as it signifies a turning point in the culture wars. On Sunday, I'll file some unique analysis of the Trump situation in a new column.

Thanks for checking in with us this week. Hope you enjoyed the photo gallery and our Irish coverage on BillOReilly.com. See you on TV and radio beginning Monday.
