Mollie Hemingway has a brilliant column on the Federalist website asking a very simple question: is the media following up on accusations against Brett Kavanaugh?

The press endorsed all the “misconduct” allegations thrown at the Justice with headlines and TV sound bites. So why has the allegation story gone dormant? As Ms. Hemingway points out, any journalist finding corroboration of charges against Kavanaugh would instantly become a media hero.

But after four weeks - silence of the lambs.

And what about Dr. Christine Ford? She could file criminal charges in Maryland that would have to be investigated by the police. But she has not. Perhaps she’s distracted by her million dollar “go fund me” account.

With full respect, I will answer Mollie Hemingway’s question. The national press no longer seeks the truth. It is content to enthusiastically accuse people especially non-liberal high-profile folks. They almost got Kavanaugh. That was apparently enough. Why investigate further when the facts might show his innocence? Too risky.

Tonight on the No Spin News, an honest broadcast, we’ll continue our analysis of the border situation with some new information and talk about the upcoming election.

Also, “Killing the SS” tops The New York Times bestseller list again. We thank everyone who is supporting this important book, and hope you read and listen to the excerpts posted on this cite.

See you tonight beginning at 7 eastern time.
