I had read a great deal about Lincoln and almost didn't buy the book. Killing Lincoln may be the best book I've ever read and I'm spreading the word.

I am also a history buff and... I have really enjoyed this book. [It's] a must-read for any school children. Too much of our history is lost with different revisions of their history books. It's people like you that give them the chance to know what they're missing. For this you are a patriot.
?Gerry L., Auburn, ME

My husband is neither an avid nor a rapid reader, but he whipped right through Killing Lincoln because he was enjoying it so much. Thank goodness, as I was anxiously awaiting my chance [to read it]!
?Marci T., Port Angeles, WA

I received an audio book of Killing Lincoln for my birthday from my daughter and loved it. Your descriptions were so good, I could almost see President Lincoln in Ford's Theater through my mind's eye. ...Congratulations on 15 years of stopping the spin! Keep up the good work, we appreciate your viewpoint.
?Clark H., Ord, NE

...I couldn't stop reading. There are many things I learned that I didn't know, and Civil War history is something that I always thought I was well educated about. I'm much better educated after reading this book...
?Mark N., Golden City, MO

I live in Florida and when I received your book we had a storm that affected the lights for about three hours. I read Killing Lincoln by candlelight and an oil lamp. The sound of the storm and the lighting made reading your book more enjoyable. When my granddaughter is old enough, I will read it to her the same way. Thanks for a better understanding of why we should always try for civility.
?Linda M., Edgewater, FL

...After reading this book, I have a greater respect and appreciation for those who sacrifice and fight for this amazing country! I am going to get another copy to share with family and friends. Thanks for what you do, and God bless America!
?Ben W., Ardmore, TN

I bought Killing Lincoln as a gift for a friend and she read the book within two days. She said she couldn't put it down. We are now waiting for you to come to the Lincoln Presidential Museum in Springfield, Illinois so that you can sign her book.

I've enjoyed every chapter of Killing Lincoln and it's been a very humbling learning experience... about President Lincoln. So, may I ask you, Mr. O., how about putting the book to a movie?
?David K., Los Angeles, CA

Just finished reading Killing Lincoln. Excellent book, informative, and well researched. I was particularly relieved that George W. Bush was not responsible for this American tragedy.
