There is a battle going on in America, between opening up the economy and staying locked down for public safety reasons. This is obviously a very emotional and intense situation.

A woman in Dallas opened up her hair salon and was sentenced to jail—that was wrong.

She was practicing civil disobedience; she says she has to feed her kids.

This is a difficult subject but I want to give you some facts that may help you formulate your opinion.

In Sweden, they did not lock down their economy—they kept it rolling with some safeguards, but no closures were ordered.

Sweden has a population of 10 million, mostly in the Stockholm area. The death rate in Sweden is 311 per one million.

Norway, to the west of Sweden —5.4 million people and a death rate of 41 per one million.

Finland, to the east of Sweden – 5.5 million people and a death rate of 47 per one million.

Norway and Finland both shut down, and you can see that those neighboring countries have a substantially lower death rate than Sweden.
