One of the interesting things about Donald Trump is his tremendous belief in himself.  If you read “The United States of Trump,” you will learn that the President sees himself as the ultimate problem solver, a person who can pretty much accomplish anything through sheer will.

 

But now COVID has crushed that part of Donald Trump’s resume because he cannot neutralize the contagion even with all the power he has.

 

So the President is frustrated and so are the people he leads. This virus is changing the country for the worse and waiting for a vaccine is the only real strategy.

 

And so we wait, some patiently, others with growing annoyance. The President is most likely in the latter category.
