As the first black Major League Baseball player, Jackie Robinson stands as one of the true giants of the Civil Rights movement.  But what would he think about Black Lives Matter and the current state of race relations?

In this Special Feature, documentary filmmaker Ken Burns shares his insights into the baseball legend's thoughts about politics and race.  Burns recently completed a two-part, four-hour documentary entitled "Jackie Robinson," which debuts on PBS at 9pm on April 11.  Part II airs on April 12, also at 9pm on PBS.

Listen to this Special Feature to learn about how Jackie Robinson was once a Republican and how he fought against racial injustice long before he arrived at the Major Leagues.  What would Robinson have thought about the 2016 election?  Listen now to hear the surprising things Burns has to say.
