The family of a soldier who recently benefited from the Factor's donations to Operation Shoebox, thanks to your generosity, sent us the following note:
To the Wonderful People of Operation Shoebox,

I am writing a note on behalf of my husband, 2LT Ryan Ragano who is currently deployed in Iraq. He wants to express his gratitude for all the things you sent out to him as well as his soldiers. They were all very excited to get the boxes full of things that we Americans take for granted every day. Because each of you understand how much the soldiers miss home and their families, they were touched to see so many people support them with their time and talents. Your organization truly made a difference in the lives of the Distro Platoon, FSC 2-8 IN, Camp ECHO Iraq, many of which are deployed for the first time. They especially loved the books from Bill O'Reilly--they were the first things taken out and distributed.

[...]

Thank you again for thinking of them and making them all feel that people in America do care for them.

Marti Ragano
