It is fascinating to see how the “back to work” debate is playing out.  The left vehemently opposes any reopening, believing infections will reignite.  The right generally favors allowing a resumption of business.

The truth is there is danger in congregating. So, Americans should continue to keep a separation from non-family members.  As we reported yesterday, Sweden did not lock down and its contagion rate is 17 times higher than its neighbors, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. That is strong evidence to avoid mingling.

However, it is possible for folks to buy and sell while maintaining appropriate distance. For example, you can go grocery shopping wearing a mask and standing apart from others.

As far as socializing, you can go to Jacksonville Beach but make sure your blanket and chair is six feet away from anyone else.

This is called common sense and that’s what we all need. I favor the resumption of business in most areas (not New York City) with discipline.

Be safe, be smart.

Tonight on the No Spin News, we’ll ask this question:  why are kids not getting the virus as much as adults?

See you beginning at 7 eastern.
