Nancy Pelosi is now promoting “due process” because John Conyers and Al Franken are in trouble. She’s correct about innocent until proven guilty but amazingly hypocritical. If Pelosi doesn’t like your politics, she could not care less about due process. In 43 years of journalism, I rank Nancy Pelosi in the top five of intellectually dishonest politicians that I’ve witnessed.
The media, both social and commercial, has destroyed due process in America. Charlatans and deceivers well understand that all negative headlines are now convictions - a person under siege is defenseless in the court of public opinion. This is great news for sleazy lawyers who capitalize on fear of the media.
