Hope all had a nice weekend; weather was beautiful here in the northeast. Now we begin summer in earnest, and there are two major stories in play. First is the economy. If it gets much worse, President Biden may have to resign. They'll frame it as a health issue, but it's all about the damage Biden is doing to his own party. Two and a half more years of presidential incompetence will destroy the Dems.
The second important situation is the quest to eliminate Donald Trump as a presidential candidate in 2023. The House January 6 committee wants that desperately but has not convinced the majority of Americans to "cancel" Trump. The latest polling has him beating Biden in a head-to-head matchup.
