On this Monday, I am predicting the Seattle Seahawks will sign controversial quarterback Colin Kaepernick who started the National Anthem kneel protests.

Mr. Kaepernick paid for that by losing his position in the league. Seahawk coach Pete Carroll laments that occurrence and likes Colin as a person as well as a player, who would back up Russell Wilson.

There is no question that Kaepernick sees the USA as a less than noble nation. But that should not preclude him from working. The so-called cancel culture is a creation of the far-left and fair-minded Americans should not embrace it.

That stated, my assessment of Colin Kaepernick is that he is misguided in the extreme. His tweets condoning violence during the protests were flat out irresponsible.

But, again, provocative opinion is allowed under our Constitution as long as it is not threatening. Kaepernick has not crossed that line.

Finally, Colin might fit in very well in the woke city of Seattle. He is sure to meet many fellow travelers in that troubled city.
