O'Reilly on the Healthcare Brawl & the Hate-Trump Media

Bill began by proudly introducing his enhanced No Spin News look, which comes to you courtesy of a brand-new, high-end camera setup.

He then delved into the complex new health care bill unveiled by Senate Republicans Thursday morning.  "This is not my area of expertise," Bill confessed, "but I will give you some important facts.  85% of Americans want some change to ObamaCare or wish to end it.  It's not working, no matter what Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi say.  The Democrats want free health care for poor people, and many poor people already get it via Medicaid.  Under ObamaCare there are no limits to Medicaid, but Republicans want some limits.  That is the main point of contention."  Bill described the bill's details as "numbing" and declined to predict whether or not it will eventually pass the Senate.

Also on Thursday, President Trump, after having hinted that there might be audio recordings of his conversations with former FBI boss James Comey, revealed that there are no tapes after all.  "Trump was just messing with them," Bill concluded.  "I knew it but I couldn't say it because that would have been speculation on my part."

Bill also theorized that the Russia "collusion" story is dying a slow death and he put forth an intriguing comparison between President Trump's problems and the travails of Hillary Clinton, who essentially ignored questions about her secret server, Benghazi, and the Clinton Foundation.  "A lot of bad stuff went on with the Clinton Foundation," he said.  "The Clintons used that multi-million dollar fund to live large, to make political and economic deals.  Sure, they kicked some money to charitable causes, but that's not what it was about.  We have facts on Benghazi, the emails, and the Clinton Foundation, but there are no facts on the alleged Trump-Russia collusion.  That's the difference!"

Meanwhile, the cable news ratings wars seem to be escalating, and Bill gave his expert opinion:  "Sean Hannity is calling out Rachel Maddow, who is the big conspiratorialist on MSNBC.  He is excoriating her by name, make no mistake about that.  On the CNN front, Newt Gingrich apparently advised President Trump to not allow CNN into the White House briefings.  There is pretty strong evidence that CNN is a hate-Trump network, and there is overwhelming evidence that MSNBC is in business to drive the president out of office.  If I were President Trump, I'd allow them into the briefings but I'd advise my guy not to call on them."

In response to a question from a Premium Member, Bill opined on Special Counsel Robert Mueller:  "Mueller can't do insinuation, speculation, or opinion.  He has to deal with facts and it doesn't matter if he's friends with Comey and Bill Clinton.  They'll find a little something, but if Mueller doesn't have anything, what will the progressives do?  All they can do is rant and rave for a day or two."

Another PM asked for an update on the distressing murder stats in Mayor Rahm Emanuel's Chicago.  "Through June 30th last year," Bill reported, "there were 333 murders in Chicago.  As of today, there are 308 murders, so it's about the same.  They have beefed up police presence in the most dangerous neighborhoods, but President Trump hasn't done anything federally."

Finally, one viewer wrote in with a very pithy suggestion:  "Hey, Bill, get real!"  Bill's just-as-pithy response:  "Here it is, the No Spin News in my own house.  How much more real can it be?"
