Jeff Sessions ‘Seriously’ Considering Second Special Counsel

Attorney General Jeff Sessions told Fox News’ Shannon Bream on Wednesday that he “will consider” naming a second special counsel to probe the FBI and Justice Department’s investigations into possible collusion between the 2016 Trump campaign and Russia.

“I have appointed a person outside of Washington — many years at the Department of Justice — to look at all of the allegations that the House Judiciary Committee members sent to us and we are conducting that investigation.”

Reps. Robert Goodlatte of Virginia and Trey Gowdy of South Carolina wrote Attorney General Jeff Sessions and Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein on Tuesday to ask for the new special counsel, whose work would be separate from special counsel Robert Mueller's investigation into Trump and Russia.

"With respect to potential and actual conflicts of interest, decisions made and not made by both former and current Department of Justice and FBI officials have led to legitimate questions and concerns from the people whom we all serve," the two men wrote. "There is evidence of bias, trending toward animus, among those charged with investigating serious cases."

The Liberal Press is Ignoring the White House vs. California Immigration Brawl

During Wednesday’s White House press briefing 13 questions were asked about Stormy Daniels or the situation surrounding her involvement with Trump. However, 0 questions were asked about the DOJ suing the state of California, regarding immigration or sanctuary laws and sanctuary cities.

President Trump vs. Stormy Daniels

President Trump's legal team won a temporary restraining order last week against ex-porn star Stormy Daniels, who is fighting in court to tell her story about their alleged affair.

On Tuesday, Daniels filed a lawsuit, claiming that a $130,000 settlement she reached with Trump's longtime lawyer Michael Cohen to keep quiet about the alleged relationship was no longer valid because Trump had not signed the document.

The lawsuit marked the first time Daniels had openly admitted to having a "hush" agreement. Michael Cohen and Stormy Daniels signed the agreement to secure her silence on Oct. 28, 2016, just days before the presidential election.

In the suit, Stormy Daniels claimed she had an affair with Trump in 2006 and 2007. Trump had denied the affair.

In a White House press briefing on Wednesday, Sarah Huckabee Sanders said that Trump denies “all of these allegations.”

Trump Sues California Over Immigration Policies

Late Tuesday evening, the Justice Department filed a federal lawsuit against California state and its top officials, California Gov. Jerry Brown and Attorney General Xavier Becerra, to stop a cluster of so-called "sanctuary state" bills.

The lawsuit is the first to place a state against the Justice Department and the DOJ's ongoing behavior in regard to immigration. The suit targets three California laws (Senate Bill 54, Assembly bill 450 and Assembly bill 103) that the federal government say violate the supremacy clause of the Constitution and interfere with the enforcement of federal immigration laws.

Rush Limbaugh Talks About Bill & Boycotters working with the Press and Activists

On Rush Limbaugh’s February 28 show, Limbaugh talked about a dinner he had recently with a group of friends & acquaintances who were asking him questions about various controversies he had been involved in.

Limbaugh began by explaining the “Stop Rush” movement and how he was able to find out that ten people (retired, elderly, mostly female) made themselves look like tens of thousands of people online in order to attack people who advertised or sponsored Limbaugh’s show.

One of the people at the dinner asked why it matters? Why he would go through the trouble of finding these people rather than just ignoring or dealing with it? Rush says he wanted to be able to present evidence to his advertisers to show them that they could safely and securely continue to advertise on Rush’s show because it was only 10 people and all the ‘hoopla’ was fake.

Rush went on to say the same thing is happing to the NRA because of Media Matters. Then Limbaugh said, “this is what got O’Reilly, folks. I sat here and said this does not have to work but there were some people saying, we got it we got it.  Hannity beat it back successfully… It frosts me to see it continue to work.  I know and more and more people know exactly what this is and how literally phony and fake it is.  Ask yourself this, every time something like this come up that advances the leftist agenda there is a national outpouring, there is a national outrage of tweets and facebook posts and emails and the American people are doing nothing but getting mad all day every day and sending off notes to CEOs and businesses? That's a caca. It isn’t happening, but it’s made to look like it is.”

Now, within hours of the New York Times accusing O’Reilly of bull, all of a sudden, all his sponsors on Fox were contacted as though there were thousands of people and it was all a lie. It was all a lie. It was based out of media matters with the Bonnor group and other far left organizations like Color of Change media. Before the article came out, they had signs printed up, get O'Reilly out of there. Everybody knew it, as far as inside what we were doing. All right. And then as soon as O’Reilly resigned they went after Sean Hannity but Hannity played it differently.

There is unbelievable corruption that's going on in this country and it's affecting everybody.

Combatting Fake News

A new venture aims to help people navigate through fake news on social media. NewsGuard Technologies is a $6-million venture that will launch this fall to battle "fake news."

NewsGuard technologies is co-founded by Steven Brill and Gordon Crovitz, a former publisher of The Wall Street Journal.

NewsGuard’s plans are to: Hire dozens of journalists to read and review the 7,500 news and information sites that are responsible for 98 percent of news consumption in the United States.

NewsGuard will rate news sources red, yellow or green. When a user glides over a link to a news source, they'll see a description that Brill calls a "nutrition label" that will give: the background of the publication, who owns it, who is backing it, their history, are they responsible, and how readers can complain if they have a complaint about something.

The labels will also clarify the political or ideological slant of a news source.

Simmons College Library Guide Warns About Christian Privilege

Simmons College in Boston, Massachusetts, believes that the phrase “God Bless You” can spark an Islamophobic microaggression. This information is inside the college’s Anti-Oppression Library Guide.

The Guide Says that Anti-Islamomisia refers to Christian Privilege

This portion of the guideline says that: “prejudice plus power; anyone with any religious beliefs can have/exhibit religion-based prejudice, but in North America (and throughout much of the western world), people who follow Christianity have the institutional power, therefore Islamomisia is a systematized discrimination or antagonism directed against Muslim people due to their religion, or perceived religious, national, or ethnic identity associated with Islam”

Statement from Simmons College PR Manager to BOR.com:

The Anti-Oppression Library Guide is not a policy of Simmons College. The Simmons College Beatley Library provides a wide range of sources of information for students and visitors. The information in this guide is an introductory resource intended to provide general information about anti-oppression, diversity, and inclusion. It is by no means a complete guide to social justice issues, religions, conversations, or points of view. As an institution of higher education, Simmons encourages exploration of a variety of sources when seeking information on any topic.

ALEXANDER PERCH, PEABODY, MA: Bill, Alex Perch from Massachusetts here. And I wanted to give a quick opine on a topic that I feel is very prevalent. Quite often we discuss the fake news and things of that nature, which would be misleading or untrue headlines. What we don’t talk about is the suppression of real news. You have companies like Google that are filtering out what they deem appropriate or inappropriate rather than letting the user themselves read that and find out if that is appropriate or inappropriate for them. Thank you, Bill.

  • "Bill, you're reporting on the women's march leader Tamika Mallory involvement with Louis Farrakhan very frightening and the fact that the mainstream media knows this and is silent on it, even more frightening. Keep up the good reporting, we need you more than ever."
  • "Bill the information you put forth on tonight's podcast regarding the women's march and who the leaders are and who they're connected to made me as angry as you are. It's really frustrating to see what's going on and not be able to do anything about it. I think it would be a good idea to open this up to the public on your Website, this has to be exposed. I can certainly see why these people made it their business to get you off of Fox News."
  • "I have many Jewish friends participating in a women's march and MeToo movements. I wonder how they would feel if they knew the leadership has connections to Farrakhan. Thank you for exposing this."
  • "Regarding the federal lawsuit against California I'm thankful Jeff Sessions finally acted to protect our immigration laws and the folks living in California. My question are we taxpayers here in California going to pay for Jerry Brown's defense?
