O'Reilly on Anarchy in Europe & Rising Tensions with North Korea

Bill began the No Spin News by revealing that he shared lunch and conversation Thursday afternoon with a former CIA director who will remain unnamed.

Before getting into the juicy details of that discussion, Bill opined on President Trump's big speech in Poland:  "He basically urged Europe to do more to protect itself against the jihadists and others.  President Trump believes that the United States should not carry the full load in world defense.  I agree and I think you agree as well."

The president's next stop is the G20 summit in Hamburg, Germany, where black-clad protesters have been clashing with police.  "There is a long history of anarchy in Germany," Bill pointed out, "and this is not anti-Trump, it's anti-Western World.  They don't believe in capitalism or borders or countries, it's a movement of disaffected people who have no roots.  They can't really articulate what they want, they just don't like the establishment.  I respect honest protest, but just tearing things down offends me, which is why I never respected the Black Lives Matter movement.  All they ever wanted to do was demonize the police."

Bill turned to President Trump's meeting with Chancellor Angela Merkel of Germany.  "She is a liberal woman," he observed, "and her mindset is that traditional progressive policies are worthy.  Germany could help more than it does worldwide, but Merkel is primarily interested in things like 'global warming.'  She's mad because Trump pulled out of the Paris Accord because that agreement did not help the USA.  I don't believe Trump and Merkel will ever get along."  As just one example of their differences, the two leaders have wildly divergent views on immigration, with Angela Merkel still eager to take in tens of thousands of refugees from the Middle East and North Africa.

Getting back to his lunch with the unnamed former CIA boss, Bill explained that much of the conversation dealt with the threat from North Korea and Kim Jong Un.  The former top spy concurred with Bill's theory that China could end any threat from North Korea by sealing its border with that renegade country.  "The North Koreans would have to stop all the nonsense," Bill declared, "because they would run out of food with a month and the people would rebel against the government."

The former top spy also reminded Bill that North Korea has several satellites that could be used to disrupt the power grid in the United States.  "We are very vulnerable here," Bill warned, "because if our Internet went down it would reverberate through everything.  Unlike Syria, if we drop a bomb on North Korea they will fight back.  Kim Jong Un wants to humiliate the United States and all its enemies.  So the North Korean situation is ramping up and no one will do much about it except the USA and Japan, which would be a target."

When it came to questions and comments from Premium Members, one viewer asked about Michigan Congressman Justin Amash, the only Republican in the House to vote against Kate's Law.  "He says it is unconstitutional," Bill reported,  "but Kate's Law does not violate the Constitution at all.  Justin Amash is not telling the truth, he doesn't know anything and he shouldn't be there."  Bill reiterated that if Democrats in the Senate kill Kate's Law it will do irreparable damage to the party.

Another viewer asked Bill why British-style government-run health care should not be considered here.  "I can only go by personal experience," Bill replied, "because I lived in England for a year.  The problem with socialized medicine is that the medical bureaucracy is so intense.  You're assigned a doctor and you're put in a hospital that may not be first class.  The government has all the power while you, the citizen who is ill, have none.  Is that what you really want?"

Make sure to check in again Friday for a special early edition of No Spin News, which will include a brief commentary followed by Bill's extended interview with Glenn Beck on The Blaze Radio Network.  Bill and Beck will be here for your edification and entertainment Friday.
