MORE TERROR IN EUROPE, TRUMP-HATING NETWORKS SALIVATING, AND THE DIVIDED STATES OF AMERICA

Bill began Tuesday's edition of No Spin News with the revelation that he has been in talks with various media outlets.  "I'm taking the offers very seriously and I'm very flattered with them," he said, "but I'm looking for the exact right vehicle to come back with.  It's very interesting to go through the process because I was at Fox News for 20 years and 8 months and never had to go through any of this."  He also told everyone to expect an expansion of the BillOReilly.com website and the various video elements.

Moving to the news, it was another day, another attack by an Islamic extremist.  This time a crazed loon went after a Paris policeman with a hammer while screaming something about Syria.  "There are a lot of very troubled people," Bill lamented, "and this is not going to stop.  But there is an interesting comparison between how England and the USA handle jihadists.  Here you can be arrested for simply stating that you want to travel to help ISIS, the FBI is very aggressive in monitoring jihadists.  In the UK, it's actually hard to get deported and a massive amount of foreigners have descended upon England, where they form ghettos that are difficult for the police to infiltrate."  Bill predicted that the liberal attitude towards jihadists will soon change in the UK and France.

Here at home, MSNBC and CNN continue their round-the-clock war against President Trump and are salivating as James Comey's Thursday testimony approaches.  "These networks and the anti-Trump media in general," Bill stated, "are rooting for Comey to say something that will disrupt the Trump presidency.  They want him to say something negative so they can run with it for weeks.  The role of the media is to seek the truth, not to root for a president to fail, but now their main goal is to get Trump out of office."  Bill studiously avoided speculating about Comey's testimony, but promised an extended No Spin News Thursday that will analyze the testimony in a straightforward, honest, and spin-free kind of way.

Meanwhile, 25-year-old Reality Winner, a contractor with the National Security Agency, has been arrested for leaking information about alleged Russian hacking.  Bill conjectured that the young woman is obviously "very dim" for believing that she would not get caught.  By the way, she is a rabid Trump-hater whose social media accounts overflow with anti-Trump messages.  Ms. Winner is most certainly the big loser of the day.

In response to a letter from a Premium Member, Bill said this about the war on terror: "Presidents Bush and Obama and Trump should have asked for the authority to declare war on ISIS and other jihadist groups."  Another letter writer worried that the USA will once again be called on to rescue Europe, but Bill expressed great doubt about that taking place, especially under President Trump.  He also blamed the refugee chaos in Europe squarely on President Obama, who allowed Syria and Iraq to get completely out of control.

Another letter writer urged President Trump to go easy on the Tweets, and Bill concurred, saying, "I agree that the Twitter stuff hurts his overall presentation more than it helps him, even though I see the worthiness of it."  Also, a commercial pilot wrote to say the air travel mess is not due to air traffic control and that privatization will not help.  Bill strenuously disagreed:  "As a pilot you want the best equipment, and privatization of air traffic control will get you better equipment, it will all be upgraded.  Your life as a pilot would be a lot better."  Speaking of travel, Bill encouraged a wary Premium Member to go through with her planned summer trip to Europe, saying, "The odds are that you will have no problem in London or Paris, so don't be apprehensive."

Finally, Bill theorized that the United States, while dangerously split into factions, is not nearly as divided as it was three times previously:  "The first time was the Civil War itself when Americans were killing each other.  The second time was before World War II when some Americans wanted more aggressive actions taken earlier, while about half the population didn't want anything to do with the war.  The country was vehemently divided, but that stopped with Pearl Harbor.  The third time was the Vietnam War when the country was fractured, partly because of the war and partly because of cultural changes.  The division is intense now, but it doesn't rise to that level, although it could if things continue to go the way they are going."

Looking ahead to future editions of No Spin News, you can expect encores from Dennis Miller, Bernie Goldberg, and other perspicacious and sagacious analysts.
