Putin’s been quiet lately, and that tells me the Trump sanctions are biting him.  This week, Moscow said it wants to restart negotiations with the Ukrainians, but few are even reporting that stuff anymore.

 

If you read ”Confronting Evil,” you will learn that bad Vlad lives in a world of violence and treachery.  It’s all he’s ever known; nonstop mayhem since childhood.

 

However, I still believe President Trump has a chance to secure a ceasefire in Ukraine. The brutal winter is just beginning, and that will bog down ground fighting.

 

Keep your eye on some kind of Christmas detente.  The bloody war has worn everyone out.  Putin’s the only person who can stop it.
