Product Description
Don't miss an exclusive audio sneak peek of Bill's memoir, "A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity!"

In 1957, in the heart of the Eisenhower years, in the third grade classroom of Sister Mary Lurana in Saint Brigid's parochial school in Westbury, Long Island, was a mouthy, obstreperous kid by the name of William O'Reilly. Quite a handful he was, and so one day Sister Lurana bent over him in exasperation in response to some piece of mischief and told him to his face, "William, you are a bold fresh piece of humanity." Little did she know that she was, early in his career as a troublemaker, defining the essence of Bill O'Reilly and providing him with the title of his brash and entertaining issues-based memoir.

In his most intimate book yet, O'Reilly goes back in time to examine the people, places, and experiences that launched him on his journey from being a working-class kid to an immensely influential television personality and bestselling author. Readers will learn how his traditional outlook was formed in the crucible of his family, his neighborhood, his church, and his schools, and how his views on America's proper role in the world emerged from covering four wars on five continents over three-plus decades as a news correspondent. What will delight his many fans and surprise many others is the humor and self-deprecation with which he handles one of his core subjects: himself, and just how O'Reilly became O'Reilly.

I gave Bold Fresh to my husband for Father's Day this year and he said it was the best book he'd read in years! We went on vacation right after Father's Day and as he read it it, he was bursting out laughing every few minutes. I am now reading it and find the style so captivating, I can almost hear Bill in my head saying the words on the page. I am so glad to have someone looking out for us like Bill, who understands the time and culture we grew up with. My 12 year old watches the Factor (thank you for the viewer warnings!) and is always looking forward to the word of the day as well as the Factor quiz. I am a retired History teacher and I'm glad he is interested in history and politics thanks to the Factor and Glen Beck!

Bought the book as a Father's Day gift for my 84-year old dad since my foks are both big Bill O. fans. He loves the book, and now my mother has her eyes on it. Looks like it'll be a bit of wait for me...

I really enjoyed Bold Fresh, it explains alot about Bill , and his life and opinions. I read the book in one day so its not a huge book. But i couldnt put it down until i finished it. I also have his autograph which is really nice to have considering that it is his book. I also like the fact that he donates the profits to charity so its a double payoff. I felt i really got my moneys worth I also received the free book of Hand of Fate but i havent been able to read this yet. So its definitely worth it. You will never have to ask questions about Bill again after reading Bold Fresh and thats why i bought it. Especially if you just start watching The Factor and just getting to know Bill.
