| I can't wait to read this ook after all the great reviews. I am sure that it is a great read and will remind me of my upbringing. Although I never attendined a catholic school, many of my friends did and my elementary school was directly across form that catholic school. |

| I enjoyed the book immensely, but thought it a bit "GUTSY" for a celebrity to expose so much voluntarily. Now I suppose I'll have to invest in your other books, now that I'm hooked on your persona.
Good job, good luck, and all the best for you in your continuing endeavors.

I laughed and cried; hope Clem is up in heaven looking down on us with a wistful bittersweet smile. Bill, any mom would be proud of you. Good job. |

| I am almost through reading Bold Fresh and have thoroughly enjoyed reading. I relate to many of the events described in the book as I also attended Catholic elementary school. However, I was never a Bold and Fresh guy. My best friend, Larry Young, was the Bold Fresh guy in my class and I got numerous wacks across the hand by Sister's ruler for following Larry's Bold Fresh persuits. O'Reilly is right on "Life is indeed unfair, and nothing is going to change that. But if we ourselves strive to be fair, things will balance out." Loved the book and on to the "Culture Warrior" |

He is not even done reading it and still thanks me all the time for buying it for him especially since it is the autographed edition!!, He truly appreciates the fact that you look at all sides of a situation and are very fair and consisitent, he always says people that have something bad to say about you have obviously not watched The O'Reilly Factor. | Bill, I bought "Bold Fresh" for my husband for Christmas. He loves it! I can't wait for my turn. Just your introduction brought back many memories for both of us (12 years of Catholic school, plus Catholic universities!). I also bought "O'Reilly Factor for Kids" for my grandson. Keep up the good work; you are one of the few voices of reason on TV today. And by the way, we could use a few more riveting mysteries like "Those Who Trespass." WOW! 5 stars for that one too! |

She has a room in her home that is dedicated to the military and the history of this great country. I am absolutely positive that this book will find a place of honor in that beautiful bookcase that holds so many literary masterpieces. Way to go, Bill! |

| This was a "Merry Christmas" gift (yes, we say "Merry Christmas") to my husband from my mom - asking what can I get for a man who has everything - ah-ha, NOW he has everything! You'll leave us stumped for next year unless you come out with another #1 best seller before December, 2010 (no doubt you will!). Your book did follow Glen Beck's Christmas Sweater, which was a gift that we decided to keep ourselves, however excerpts are recited almost daily, particularly that they are values that we already are trying to instill in our three sons, ages 7, 5 and 3. Chad (my husband) hand-wrote "Life is not about what others will give you, but instead, what you do in life to earn it" and posted it on our refrigerator. My oldest son, two days later, took it down and said "we don't need this up anymore". I quickly put it back up again and said "if you think you no longer need this, then you do!" As children we had Mr. Rogers, as adults, we have you! Thanks, Bill - I think a copy of the book should be given to all new parents before leaving the hospital with their newborn - it would be a great handbook on "how to care for your new baby through adulthood!" Best of luck to you in future publications - you'll have guaranteed purchases from our family!
Sincerely,
The DuBreucq Family |

| I bought this book for my wife, she's been hinting all year about how much she wanted to read it. She received a gift card to a book store and told me she was going to go out and buy it, so I had to ruin the surprise and tell her it was already on the way. When it arrived, with all the additional loot that came with it. She told me the girls were mine for the day and she disappeared into our bedroom and read the book in one day. I had to follow the laughter to find her. Thank you for bringing laughter into my wife's life Bill! |

| Thank you, Bill, for writing this book. My partner and I can so relate to the tales of your childhood and your philosophy on life. We are now realizing that being raised in the 50s and 60s crosses all borders; being Canadians or Americans, we' re kindred spirits! I love your common sense take on raising children and taking full responsibility for what you encounter in your life. As business consultants and being involved in the media in western Canada, we hope you check out our news publication, percyonbusiness.com. We hope you enjoy it as much as we enjoy our daily dose of the "O"Reilly Factor". Take care!

| Great reading. Brought back memories of my parochial school days. My question-Sr. Lurana's name -i I can't think of the connection with a saint. Nuns usually take the name of a saint. Can you refresh my memory?

| I read continuously andam always digesting one or two books at a time. I rarely read non-fiction because of its dry, boreing, preach-ey nature. Like Bill, I am a self thinker and only appreciate other's opinions when I ask for them. I devoured this book, it has become one of my all time favorite reading experiences. I will now have to read Bill's other offerings. Bold Freash will be the Christmas gift I share with the special people in my life. |

He thoroughly enjoyed the book and couldn't put it down! The book was fantastic! We are huge O'Reilly fans and Bill, you are a guest each evening in our home via the television. Thanks for your time and efforts in educating the American people about our serious situation. Hopefully making the public aware can change the course which President Obama is leading us and the President will see the present crisis will turn tragic for the American people in the future. |

| I got the book for my Dad for Father's Day. Shipping seemed to take a long time, but it was well worth it. Though I'm a German Lutheran girl from the midwest, I could completely relate to his stories as an Irish Catholic boy from the east. Must be a generational thing. (Bill, I was the Norma in my class, and I turned out well. Don't worry about her.) Love the fact that a soldier overseas is getting a copy of the book since I bought it from Bill's website. (By the way, Dad is enjoying the book, too...now that he finally got it out of my clutches.) It was an engaging, quick read - finished it in a long afternoon. |

My sister reports that her daughter also obtained a copy for her father on Father's Day. He has been heard laughing in the other room. He states he relates with Bill. (Interesting this man was not born into a christian family, nor did he attend private catholic school, but certain generational similarities connect the two men.) I am anticipating listening to the audio version during my two hour round trip commute to work. |

I guess that's why you are so good at what you now do. The large print paperback was for me, but, I got the autographed copy for my son in law and he was thrilled. "Bold and Fresh" gives wonderful insight as to who you are, and what you stand for. Know that countless numbers of us come from similar "molds", and share your convictions, dreams, and attitudes toward good and evil, and right versus wrong. Keep writing, .........and keep up your great investigative journalism.

| This was great, I remember doing some things similar to what Mr O'Reilly did, but I went to schools on military bases and didn't have quite as much fun. I do remember playing outdoors "till te streetlights come on". we played out doors all the time, were not allowed to sit in front of the television. Great job, I recommend it highly. Thanks Mr. O'Reilly.

| Bill, I bought "A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity" for my husband last Christmas. He was pleased when he opened it but picked up another book to read.
So... I got you book first and couldn't put it down. My husband teased me that he would have to by one for himself because I was underlining too many things and it would affect his read.
You write like you speak so I saw you in every word. You are my new bestest friend and... I need another conversation (though it be one way) ...anothe book right away.
I will also buy another copy for my 16 year old grandson who will appreciate who you were and who you've become.
I was ordainted last May and will use your process of telling fun childhood stories to back up how my belief system came to be. Marvelous!
Blessings and joy to you Mr. Bill O'Reilly, |

Then I read the entire book in one sitting the day after Christmas. That was my rest after the glorious chaos of Christmas Day. Loved the book!! Now I'm reading Culture Warrior and plan to buy your children's books for my granddaughter. Thank you, Bill, for all the good you do, especially the concern you show for children, and I'm delighted to know that purchasing your books helps to support the charities you've listed. | Thank-you Bill for the autographed book. I was so happy to wrap the book for my husband for Christmas. When he opened it and discovered that the man himself had signed it I new I had hit a homerun. The smile he displayed was worth the wait. When I received the book I could hardly keep myself from blowing the surprise. I kept hinting that I had not received the book that I had also purchased for my Uncle in Kentucky. My husband did not know that I had his autographed. I did not show him the book for fear that he would want to read it before it was wrapped and sent off to Kentucky. The two special men in my life now have a great book to read while the snow just keeps falling. One last thing, my husband, Gary, and myself, Cynthia always say "Merry Christmas" so thank-you for believing in those two words. Keep Smiling! Cynthia |

| Bill, thanks for the book. I'm about half way through and really enjoying your personal experiences. They definately have defined your strong character and worthy convictions. I APPRECIATE your common sence and balanced approach to life. I strongly agree with your efforts in the high school teaching years. Not only do we have to get out of ourselves and make a difference, the kids are our future and we are responsible for that. I enjoyed Culture Warrior and I know I will enjoy reading the rest of 'Bold Fresh'.
Keep up the GOOD work on TV and Radio. It is appreciated and makes a difference. I just hope WE [ enough good people facing fears ] all work towards the good of our families/country. |

Our households much the same. Your delightful choice of words lend much pleasure to a readers eyes. I am raving to my friends it is a must to read. I will be reading your other books. | Bill O'Reilly's book, A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity reminds me of my two years of teaching in a small Catholic school in Warrenton, Missouri in 1975-77. It was my first teaching position. I am not Catholic, so the school was, I suppose, desperate for a teacher for the combined 5th and 6th grade classes--though I certainly was not entrusted to teach the Catholic religion to the students! Over time, I have counted those two years my happiest. Bill's antics reminded me of my trials by fire from the more mischievous in the class. But how I grew to love those young people! I suspect that Sister Lurana kept a very special affection for Billy that she felt she dare not show. Obviously, I enjoyed the book and it will occupy a special place in my library. | I laughed, I cried, I thoroughly enjoyed. Although we are different genders, Bill, I had some of the same experiences you had in Catholic education. I once sneaked into the convent and looked in one of my teacher's rooms'. Didn't take any underwear, though. My elementary and high school years were some of the most fun times of my life. I still get together with about 12 of my high school classmates on the first Wednesday of every month (we graduated in 1960) and we cherish our friendship. We go out for dinner and "catch up" on all that has transpired since our last dinner. Thanks for writing about my life and times! It was fun remembering.

| I purchased Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity for myself, as I have other books by Mr. O'Reilly, but it always seems to make the rounds of the house before I get it again. I have read the first chapter and found it very humerous. Thus far, it is excellent. If only I knew where it was now. I will finish the book when, I guess after everyone else has read it. I usually know who has it because that is the one always telling me what is happening. |

| I actually bought this book for my son-in-law, and he was so happy to get it. He hasn't said if he has read it yet or if he is still reading it; however, I ordered this book on CD and I'm enjoying it immensely. I'm a few years older than Bill, but I relate to the times he talks about and the way things were in our childhood days. Even though I grew up in a different part of the country, things were very much the same as he talks about. It's a very entertaining and nostalgic look back. Thanks. Donna Bauder |

| I found the book both entertaining and a flash back to crazy times. It was so enjoyable and evoked memories of the past that had been long forgotten. Thanks Bill for the trip down memory lane.. As I read the book I felt like you were right there telling your story. I truly enjoyed the read and this comes from me, a person that usually doesn't take the time to sit down or read a book. |

| I'm not much of a reader but I was genuinly interested in what drives Bill O'Reilly so I purchased the book. I must say, it was excellent reading and goes to show you that very many people grow up in the same way, but through different events, take different paths. I do understand Mr O'Reilly much better and two of many things I agree with him are to do the right thing and to take responsibility for your own actions. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to learn more about morals, integrity, and values. |

| This was my first O'Reilly book, I thouroughly enjoyed reading it. I talked to my sister and told her I bought the book and she told me she had gotten me one for Christmas because she knew how much I enjoyed watching you on television. Well I told her to return it to the bookstore and get me another O'Reilly book. Patty Wager.....Va. Beach,Va. |

| I guess you've seen "the book was a gift" enough times. Mine was to be a Christmas gift for my husband. He got it a little early as he was at home when it was delivered and knew exactly what had to be in a package from Bill O'reilly. He is enjoying it very much. I've heard him laugh out loud more than once. He too attended Catholic school so he can no doubt identify with some of your experiences. |

| I BOUGHT THIS FOR MY SON-IN-LAW FOR CHRISTMAS. HE SAW THE PACKAGE AT MY HOME AND BECOME SO EXCITED I BROKE DOWN AND GAVE HIM THE BOOK. HE READ THE BOOK FOR TWO DAYS EVERY MOMENT OF SPARE TIME AND LOVED THE BOOK. THE AUTOGRAPH MADE THE BOOK ALL THE MORE SPECIAL. HE IS A NUMBER ONE FAN OF BILL AND HIS HONEST REPORTING. HE APPRECIATED THE INSIGHT ON THE MAN WHO HE HOLDS IN HIGH ESTEEM . |

| What a rockin' piece of humor!! I especially liked the Club Med shenanigans and the winner-take-all attitude of Bill and his stud bunch........funny!!! Enjoyed Bill's third stringers football experience while at college, too......ouch!!! All in all, an outstanding read. Lots of funny stuff, coupled with insightful truths. This is my first O'Reilly book, but it won't be my last.

| Bill,
As you say, your story is mine. I grew up 10 years behind you on the other coast. Life there was the same as yours, traditional and family centric. My surroundings were orchards and the initial suburbs that have completely overwhelmed the entire state of California now. I do not recognize the the place I grew up in now and have no intention of ever returning. It pains me to see the values I was raised with diminished by the Secular Society that is striving to take over now. The only objection I have is regarding your chauvinistic, sexist and patronizing attitude that you portray with women. I see though that this behavior was nurtured and encouraged from your youth thereby precluding you from having a proper respectful role model from which to emulate respectful behavior towards the female gender. This is the one juvenile characteristic from your youth that you have not been able to mature from. I pray that one day you will. Otherwise you are a role model that I encourage to our youth. Great book! I strongly recommend it.
Sincerely, Jenny Ballard Joseph Oregon |

| Having grown up during those same very intersting times, I appreciate Bill's reflections on his experiences. His wry humor coupled with his insight into the values of the times kept me reading, laughing, and considering why we have come to where we are today. |

| I did not read the book. I ordered the book for my brother. I have been going through breast cancer for the last two years. My brother has been so unbelievably kind and generous to me. My car broke down and right now I am not working and my brother bought me a new car. I know that he really enjoys Bill O'Reilly and he is about the same age. We grew up in Levitown around the same time and we were also brought up Catholic. My brother loves to read and he said that he has already started reading the book and really enjoying it.
Thank You

| A wonderful book by a man of integrity; like our founding fathers, General Eisenhower, General Petraus, Abraham Lincoln and those who have and do stand for our rights as Americans. Like Bill O'Reilly's other books, this book rings of strengths that each of us can find in ourselves if we look deeply enough. The book is also full of how it was to grow up in a simpler time in America when we had respect for character, honesty and a sense of humor. I would reccommend this book to anyone who searches themself for truth and trys to live their life accordingly and also has learned to love, laugh and is proud to be an American. |

| I ordered an autographed copy of Bold Fresh because like O'Reilly, I also "survived" 12 yrs. of Catholic School. Unlike O'Reilly, I have lovely penmanship :) The book is great. O'Reilly is a loveable hot headed tell it like it is Irishman. He'd fit in perfectly at our family BBQs. :) He was a cutie when he was young too pork chop sideburns and all :) |

| I thoroughly enjoyed "A Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity". It was the first of Bill's books that I have purchased-it has whetted my appetite for more. (Perhaps, "Culture Warrior" will be my next.) I plan on sharing the book with my college-age kids. I hope to point out Bill's own college experiences, of being surrounded by the peer pressure of the usage of drugs and excessive alcohol and how Bill stood outside that situation and was able to see it as it is- a path to nowhere. Coming from the same generation, I believe Bill should be very proud of his stance, which was so very outside the norm for that time period. This book reveals this, and many insights to the building of Bill's admirable character, and is highly entertaining! |

| actually, i am somewhat older than you, but your books have all given me pleasure and "culture warrior" really made me make some good decisions regarding politics,
for many years i have not read any newspapers nor listened to any network news, but after cable became available the network news media no longer gained my assurance anyway.
i did find hannity about the time i retired, 2001, i think. i enjoyed his reporting for several months but was finally lead to "the factor". after listening and watching you, i have begun to enjoy news programing again, but only what fox news reports. fox news is the only news i give any credibility while occasionally checking out msnbc, cbs, nbc, abc, cnn, and finding little worthwhile in the others. "a bold fresh piece of humanity" is definitely an excellent read and brings back many similar activities and wonderful memories of my own youth. keep up the excellent work.
hopefully, some day i might get my wife to convert from media news! dana pellman bremerrton, wa |

| I am not quite finished with the book yet, but I love it so far. I find myself laughing out loud when I read about some of the Catholic school ordeals. I went to Cathollic grade school and high school as well, so I can relate. It sounds like your upbringing in Levittown (?sp) was very similar to my upbringing in Chicago's southside. My dad had been a Marine in WWII, and grew up a cowboy in Sedona, so he knew hard work. Therefore, so did we! I loved him for it, though. My mom was the daughter of a Lithuanian immigrant, and knew hard work herself. She worked full time all our lives.
Thanks, Bill! |

| A definite five stars. Notwithstanding the obvious appeal to those who lived through America's post-war years, who will clearly find much to remind them about their own childhood and adulthood, this book has much more to offer the reader.
Firstly, it helps illustrate what makes BOR tick. Why he sometimes comes across as rude and arrogant to those he clearly does not respect, yet often appears to indulge those who he clearly disagrees with. The approach that has left US ideologues frustrated at their inability to 'pigeon-hole' someone who is clearly traditional but non-partisan.
Secondly, as a 40 year-old Englishman, I have found that this book transcends time and international boundaries. A 'Bold Fresh Piece of Humanity' is an inspiring journey, and leaves the reader determined to achieve more with their life. To simply not accept the cards that fate has dealt them, but to take control of the deck. Thanks Bill! |

| I was a 5 th grader in St. Vincent de Paul in 1950, Sister Mary Joseph, 9th ward, New Orleans, anda social studies teacher 1962-1965. The one who made decisions as to what the friends did, but married young and deviated from your path. Lucky to have almost 5 good friends but not as close as yours. Worked like hell in '60s and had no time for fun and hippie life, never smoked even a cigarette and after 26 years out of education, I retired a special ed. teacher.
In other words, this conservative born democrat loved your book as well as your other books and you on t.v.
Congratulate Gov. Mike H. for being the week-end O'Reilly.
Keep those bold fresh opinions coming.

| Terrific read, Bill. Your book brought back memories of my own parallel life in Nutley, NJ. I can identify with you on the Catholic upbringing. It shaped my life as well and I'm still a good Catholic. I just returned from my 40th HS reunion ( you are exactly 6 month to the day older than me) and I found it refreshing to see that most of my classmates still held fast to the principles of our roots (no matter how successful they became.) Thanks for watching out for us! |

| I bought this book for myself and another one for my young (7th grade) great-neice that lives in Neosho, MO. after she told me last summer that she would "just love" to have a copy of everyone of your books!! She has read it from cover to cover already despite having a foreign-exchange student living with them recently. My late sister would be so very proud of her grandaughter Laura Crossno. Please let us know if you can read her name out loud on the program. She will be thrilled if it is possible.
I still want to write-in a vote for an independant ticket; O'Reilly/Miller....

| This book tells of life as I know it. It gives the perspective of one (Bill O'Reilly) who grew up hard, but who retained the fundamental values he received as a child and endeavors to practice them throughout his adult life, albeit he was not always perfect in following them as he grew up. It is most revealing about This Life we live that it is not always pretty but worth the trip. Bill is truly "looking out for the folks." The last pages of the book talk of evil and Power and other Mysteries of Life that are must reads. The Deity does indeed give us challenges we must wrestle with, for good reason, and Bill has met them. I do believe good people can change, if not likely to, with God's help, but otherwise the world is a much better place for Bill's revelations. Be warned, however, to paraphrase Bill, "The Spin does indeed stop here" in the book! |

| If a book doesn't grab me in the first few pages, I loose interest. Bill's book is GREAT! I was hooked from the first paragraph! I took it with me from room to room, I even took it with me to my bedroom. My husband didn't mind at all. I could just see Bill's every action and I could hear his voice in every word, it was almost as if he were personally telling me his life story. I guess I'm hooked and have no choice, I'll just have to order your other books. Love your show Bill! Can't miss it, we tape it if we have to be out. |
