Scandal at the White House
Guest:David Nakamura
The Washington Post is reporting that the White House covered up the fact that one of their employees was involved in the 2012 scandal involving Secret Service agents cavorting with prostitutes during President Obama's trip to Colombia. Back when the story first broke, the White House denied any of their folks were involved.

Mr. Nakamura, one of the reporters who broke the just-released story, outlined how the White House said there was no evidence (only rumor) that someone on the administration's advance team was involved in the Colombia misconduct. An investigator looking into the scandal was told to delay his findings by someone in the administration, and then he was subsequently put on leave - he told Mr. Nakamura he believes this was an act of retaliation.
Race and Ebola Treatment
Guest:Geraldo Rivera
The family of Thomas Duncan, the Ebola patient who died in Texas yesterday, says his race played a role in why he was initially turned away from the hospital.

Geraldo concluded it was either gross malpractice or the doctor seeing yet another poor black man without insurance showing up in the ER and disregarding him. He surmised there is almost no chance the patient's race and social class didn't play a role in his lack of treatment.

Bolling scoffed, saying he would expect Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson to cry racism here, but not Geraldo. Geraldo fought back and pointed out that there's racism every day in every emergency room in every urban hospital across the country.

On 3,000 troops being sent to West Africa to try to help contain the Ebola virus, Bolling expressed concern, to which Geraldo accused him of just wanting to allow the whole continent to get wiped out.
Reaction to O'Reilly's Interview with Leon Panetta
Guest:General Wesley Clark
Is former Defense Secretary Leon Panetta criticizing President Obama to help pave the way for a Hillary Clinton presidential run? In his sit-down with the Factor, Panetta contended the President understands the dangers posed to this country around the globe, but questioned whether he can translate that understanding into the kind of action that can protect us.

Gen. Clark admitted to not reading Panetta's book, but said he knows the former Defense Secretary also has a lot of positive things to say about President Obama. Even within the privacy of the executive branch, he mentioned, people don't always agree on what to do so the revelations by Panetta aren't surprising.

What struck Bolling most was that Leon Panetta flatly said everyone in the administration knew the Benghazi talking points were wrong. Gen. Clark's opinion is that this issue is getting blown way out of proportion. He defended the President by reminding viewers he's facing big international challenges with ISIS, Putin, and China.
Poised for a Presidential Run?
Guest:James Carville
One of the Clintons' closest confidants, Democrat James Carville, gives us his take on the Leon Panetta controversy and whether the wave of scandals hitting the Obama administration is wrecking the Democratic Party.

Bolling asked why now? Why would Panetta not wait until the President left office to write this book?

Carville underplayed speculation that Panetta is angling for a position in a Clinton administration by attacking Obama. He summarized that Panetta just felt like writing about his experience so he let it fly, and Carville doubts Panetta is looking to get back into the federal government under a potential Clinton administration.
Clash of Civilizations?
Guests:Alan Colmes & Andrea Tantaros
MSNBC guest Michael Eric Dyson compared Christians to radical Muslim terrorists. Bolling sat back and watched the fireworks between Tantaros and Colmes!

Tantaros called the comments on MSNBC "really loony." She said the left has been warning us that Christian fundamentalists are the biggest threat to this country for years, but for Dr. Dyson to conflate Christianity with ISIS is shameful, in her estimation.

Colmes sided with Dyson, saying he's urging us not to overreact to something that isn't a direct threat to the United States, which, according to Colmes, ISIS is not.

Tantaros presented proof by way of a Pew poll that the majority of Muslim countries believe in Sharia law, and Sharia law communities in this country are actually growing. In her mind, this is one more piece of evidence that radical Islam is, in fact, a threat to Americans and our freedom.

Colmes countered that both Islam and Christianity are peaceful religions, but there are extreme elements in both that do not represent the larger faith.
Are We Safe from Ebola?
Guest:Dr. Marc Siegel
As Ebola fears mount across the country, is the government doing enough to keep us safe from the outbreak?

Dr. Siegel explained the lesson we should learn from the patient who died in Dallas. He exposed 100 people to Ebola, but nobody else has gotten sick yet. The doctor conveyed that Ebola is really not that contagious and we're seeing a lot of unnecessary fear and panic at this point.

Bolling brought up the report that the CDC is going to double screen people at five airports over the weekend and wondered whether zoning in on just five airports is aggressive enough.

The doctor referred to Ebola as a medical terrorist - that is, if one person slips through, everyone is going to panic. He called for custom and border patrol agents to receive some medical training so they can look for people who appear sick and need to be examined by infectious disease experts before being allowed entry into the country.

Bolling said people are panicked because President Obama stood at a CDC podium and tried to calm Americans by saying Ebola would never arrive here, yet it has arrived despite the assurances of our leadership.
