| "The media is not reporting the black-white crime situation accurately. According to FBI stats, 91% of homicides on black Americans were committed by other blacks. Also, 14% of homicides on white Americans were committed by blacks, twice as many as the other way around. So black men are not being 'hunted down' by whites, as some hysterical commentators charged after the Zimmerman acquittal. But the horrendous black-on-black murder rate is virtually ignored by the media, which wants no part of exposing problems in the minority precincts. 70% of black babies born out of wedlock? No problem. A rap culture that's violent and crude? No sweat. Rampant drug use in the inner city? Attack the cops trying to solve the problem. No matter what facts are presented, the liberal line will be the same - it's society's fault and past racial injustice is the real story, not present social chaos. It is time to stop the madness and hold all Americans accountable for their actions. But there is not an honest arena in the press, and the result is anger, confusion, and a collapsing confidence in the American way of life. Many black Americans sincerely feel aggrieved, while some whites believe blacks are using the race card to portray themselves as victims. An honest media might be able to cut through all the bitterness and report the truth, but we don't have an honest media in America." |

Guest: Former Florida Congressman Allen West
The Factor welcomed former Congressman Allen West, who responded to Attorney General Eric Holder's call for an end to Florida's 'stand your ground' law. "The 'stand your ground' law was not part of the case," West stated, "and I think they're looking for an opportunity to not let a crisis go to waste. Every individual has a right to defend themselves and that is what the 'stand your ground' law is about. I don't think there is a problem in Florida or the other 22 states with similar laws." West castigated the mainstream media for focusing on stories that fit their racial narrative. "The media has no journalistic integrity. Earlier this year two black teenagers shot a 13-month-old white baby in the face but you did not hear a peep out of the media." The Factor criticized Holder for his lack of objectivity, saying, "He is a political activist disguised as the Attorney General of the United States." |

Guest: Tavis Smiley
For another view of the black/white crime situation, The Factor turned to radio host Tavis Smiley. "What's lacking in this conversation is empathy and an appreciation for the humanity of Trayvon Martin," Smiley began. "In this country the life of a black child does not have the same worth and value as the life of a white child. After Sandy Hook, the humanity of those children was present all over Fox News and everyplace else. African Americans are not seeing that same kind of appreciation for the humanity of Trayvon. Race is still the most intractable issue in this country, an adult can stalk and profile and kill a child." Smiley reaffirmed his assertion that America holds black men in contempt. "Look at the over-criminalization of black boys in our education system, look at the racist drug laws, look at the high unemployment numbers among African American men." The Factor reminded Smiley that there is very little white-on-black crime: "There is a genocide going on in Chicago and it's blacks killing blacks, whites don't have anything to do with it. I don't believe America has contempt for black men, a lot of the problem is generated by blacks themselves." |

Guests: Kimberly Guilfoyle & Lis Wiehl
George Zimmerman's legal team is suing NBC News for deceptively editing audio to make Zimmerman sound like a racist. Legal analysts Lis Wiehl and Kimberly Guilfoyle evaluated the case. "NBC is on the hook for a big defamation lawsuit," Wiehl stated. "They doctored that tape and it started the whole narrative of Zimmerman being this profiling racist. They're looking at millions of dollars because Zimmerman was a private figure at that time, he was just a neighborhood watchman." Guilfoyle predicted that NBC will try to portray George Zimmerman as a well-known public personality. "This case will turn on whether NBC can convince the court that Zimmerman was a public figure at the time. It would have been much easier for NBC if he had been found guilty. NBC should settle this because Zimmerman has a very strong case." |

Guest: John Stossel
John Stossel entered the No Spin Zone to defend his recent assertion that America is beginning to resemble ancient Rome. "Rome collapsed of its own weight," he said. "Government grew, there were increases in taxation, they devalued the currency, they had gross spectacles, and they bribed people with welfare. The libertarian philosophy and the Tea Party and your show complaining about the debt are our best hope. If we continue on our current socialist course, we're doomed." The Factor generally concurred with Stossel's analysis: "I did a lot of research for 'Killing Jesus,' and I agree that there are many frightening parallels with what's going on in America today. The devaluation of the currency came because the Roman emperors had to get more and more money to live lavishly and expand the government." |

Guest: Dr. David Sack
31-year-old actor Cory Monteith was found dead in a Canada hotel room this weekend after ingesting heroin and alcohol. The Factor spoke with Dr. David Sack, a treatment specialist who warned about the widespread acceptance of marijuana. "The attitude toward marijuana changed," Sack lamented, "when we started to get legalization. There's a perception that marijuana is safe, but the evidence is to the contrary. Marijuana, especially when used by adolescents and young adults, affects future development and thinking. Over time it catches up with people and marijuana is a very insidious drug, people don't notice how it's affecting them." |

Guest: Charles Krauthammer
The Factor wrapped up Tuesday's show with Charles Krauthammer, who added his analysis of the Zimmerman trial. "The most important thing about this is whether the mob is going to rule," Dr. K said. "It was because of the mob - the activists and the people who live off racial conflict - that we had the trial in the first place. The mob demanded a trial, there was an impartial jury, there is no evidence of racial animus or bias in the trial, so there is no case to be made that this was an unfair process. The only question now is whether the mob will pressure the administration into a double jeopardy prosecution. That would be a terrible mistake." |
