| "Donald Trump's flamboyant, sometimes bombastic, personality has overshadowed every other person running for president. His style has captivated millions and his campaign has been very successful thus far, so successful that it has almost obliterated the fact that the Democratic president and party have failed to improve America. Consider this - about two million more citizens live in poverty since President Obama took office, poverty among women has increased by one million, and among blacks the poverty rate is up nearly 1.5%. Median income for all Americans has dropped an average of $2,000 since 2009. That is an economic disaster, yet few Americans really know the stats. About 2.5 million undocumented immigrants have entered the USA during President Obama's tenure, including more than 150,000 unaccompanied minors. President Obama has actually made it easier for alien criminals to hurt Americans by supporting the sanctuary city concept and by failing to support Kate's Law. Overseas, there is a war raging in Syria and Iraq that was ignited when the president ordered all U.S. troops to leave Iraq. ISIS moved in, creating violence and horror. The situation in this region is much worse now than it was when President Obama took office. The ISIS savages have executed thousands of civilians, raped thousands of women, and generally terrorized at least a half dozen nations in the Middle East and North Africa. All of that on President Obama's watch. As far as Iran is concerned, most Americans are opposed to the nuke deal the Obama administration wants approved. On social issues, the Democratic Party has veered sharply left. When Planned Parenthood was exposed for selling the body parts of babies, few Democrats condemned the action. The Democratic Party is now embracing ultra-left positions and has failed to deal with vexing problems effectively. The record itself should be enough to get a Republican elected president in 2016, but Donald Trump's transcendence has obscured the record. Right now the political debate is all about sizzle, rather than steak. That's not Donald Trump's fault, he is campaigning in a very effective way for him. President Obama and the Democratic Party have severely weakened this nation - every fact points to that. We are approaching $20 trillion in debt, entitlement spending is out of control, taxes are rising and working Americans are losing ground. If you still don't believe me, consider this: In a recent Quinnipiac poll, American voters were asked, 'Are you satisfied or dissatisfied with the way things are going in the nation today?' An astounding 71% are dissatisfied or very dissatisfied, 26% say things are okay, and only 2% of Americans are very satisfied with where America is today. Two percent! Talking Points rests its case." |

| Charles Krauthammer evaluated the Memo and Donald Trump's role in obscuring Democratic failures. "Given how dissatisfied the country is," Dr. K observed, "and given the fact that we have been under an Obama government for six years, Republicans should be way ahead. But Donald Trump is not running against Democrats, he's running against Washington and the establishment, the politicians he says are 'stupid and incompetent.' Obama is getting kind of a pass because Trump is leading the field and shaping the debate. He is in effect running as a third-party candidate against the establishment, and therefore the argument against the Democrats is left by the wayside." The Factor reiterated, "This country has lost an enormous amount of power under President Obama and most Americans know that." |

With the State Department releasing more of Hillary Clinton's emails from her tenure as secretary of state, The Factor asked FNC correspondents James Rosen and Catherine Herridge for the latest. "We have confirmation from the State Department," Herridge said, "that 150 of these emails contain classified information. This brings the total to more than 200 and it makes Mrs. Clinton's defense less and less sustainable."
Rosen added that Clinton is facing extremely serious accusations. "Catherine's reporting about the status of the FBI investigation in this case - the resources being devoted to it, the apparent seriousness of it, including consideration of conspiracy statutes - all suggest that Secretary Clinton's recent tentative shift in tone - she has adopted, in Watergate terminology, a kind of a 'modified limited hangout' tone recently - is going to be inadequate to the enormity of the problem she confronts here, in both substantive and public relations terms." |

| 30-year-old Shannon Miles, a black ex-con, allegedly walked up behind Texas Deputy Sheriff Darren Goforth and murdered the white officer for no reason. The Factor spoke about the crime with Goforth's former boss, Chief Deputy Sheriff Tim Cannon. "Officer Goforth's wife is handling this as best as possible," Cannon said, "and many people are comforting her and surrounding her with love. We all have heavy hearts in knowing that this person was assassinated for no reason. It's hard for us to accept that people are targeting us." The Factor added that Darren Goforth leaves behind two children, saying, "I'm very worried about his 12-year-old daughter and 5-year-old son, we will do whatever we can for this family." |

| Over the weekend the 'Black Lives Matter' organization marched in Minnesota and repeated this grotesque anti-cop chant: "Pigs in a blanket, fry 'em like bacon." Juan Williams and Mary Katharine Ham opined on the group. "We have not seen 'Black Lives Matter' involved in any violence," Williams said, "and the demonstration in Minnesota had to do with the St. Paul police department. But this group is hurting the legacy of the civil rights movement, they have no agenda and they are distracting from the real issue." Ham argued that Black Lives Matter has every right to express vile views. "This was a disgusting representation, but I don't think everyone in that movement is engaged in that sort of thing." The Factor pulled no punches regarding Black Lives Matter: "I think they're a hate group and I'm going to put them out of business. Any media person who supports them will have their picture on this program." |

| Jesse Watters headed, well, northeast, to Northeastern University in Boston, where an official pamphlet warns student leaders about the dangers of white privilege. Here's what a few students told him: "White males are racially and gender-wise above everybody else" ... "As a white male, you do have an advantage." After making the return southwest trip to the New York studio, Watters summarized his campus adventure. "This is really crazy and even Northeastern panicked about this segment. They sent me a statement saying the pamphlet was 'intentionally provocative' and meant to 'provoke spirited conversation.'" |

| The New York Times published a lengthy story about Serena Williams, probably the best female tennis player in history, claiming Williams has routinely endured 'racist assaults.' That is a reprehensible statement and a cheap shot by the article's author, a professor at the University of Southern California. |
