Donald Trump's Poll Numbers Are Surging. Is Bernie Sanders to Blame?

Hey BillOReilly.com Premium Members. Welcome to the No Spin News for Monday the 23rd, Memorial Day week.

Summer is here. I hope you all enjoy it and plan ahead, that’s the best advice I can give you, especially if you have to fly. I mean, these insane airlines, what they’re doing to people is just crazy—keeping them on the lines all that long…oh my god.

So plan ahead—one day of frustration. Fly early in the morning. If you can get up early, take the first plane out. That’s my best advice to you, because it is just insane what they are doing at the airport.

It should never happen, but nobody cares. The politicians don’t care, so that’s why we have what we have.

On the political front, there’s going to be a lull in the action now for about two months. It’ll start to heat up in early July before the conventions. But it’s going to be back and forth, Clinton-Trump.

There’s a vexing problem before me and it’s how to cover these personal attacks that both candidates will traffic in, but Trump more than Clinton at this point.

Clinton’s a generalist: you know, “Trump’s no good for women…”

And then as soon as Trump hears that, he’s teeing up all of the scandals of the Bill Clinton administration.

I understand why Trump’s doing that. He wants to intimidate the Clintons and the Clinton machine because he knows how vicious that is, and he wants to gin up his support because he knows that a lot of people despise the Clintons and they like this kind of stuff.

But I have to cover it. So what do I do?

Do I rehash all of this stuff? Bill Clinton’s favorability ratings in the USA are pretty good now. That doesn’t mean anything in the sense of what he did or did not do back when he was president and before, but it’s tough. It’s a tough one.

I guess I could relitigate the whole thing. I mean, do you want to see these women brought back in the media—the women that accused Clinton. Do you want to see that?

All you have to do is just go back on the internet…that’s one of the good things about the internet, you can see what they said, it’s all the stuff that’s posted. Do you have to bring them out again?

It’s hard. I don’t like this kind of stuff because I know that the people who traffic in it, the press that traffics in it, I know how sleazy and scummy they are. I know these people. I know what they do. And I don’t like to do that kind of thing.

If it’s necessary, if the Clinton attack machine starts up, I understand why Trump does it. That’s the only way he can really fight back.

So I expect all of that to be out there, and I’ll take it on a case by case basis. I’ll cover on a case by case. We’re not afraid to cover it, it’s just that it’s unseemly. A lot of young people watch this program, and it makes the whole country look bad, this kind of stuff. It really does.

The Clinton era did not do much for us abroad. We looked like a laughing stock. The president embarrassed the country, big time. No doubt about it. It’s not France here, we have a traditional core value system in America. They’re trying to dismantle it, but it’s still there to some extent.

They’re trying hard to get rid of it—that’s what this transgender stuff is all about. It’s why the Charlotte paper…ugh…I mean, really grossly irresponsible. That’s not a pun.

So anyway, we’re going to have a big week this week. I want you guys to keep the emails and message boards humming. Let me know what you’re thinking.
