A guy at Drexel University outside of Philadelphia, his name is George Ciccariello-Maher. OK, he's an associate professor there. He teaches politics. So, he goes on his Twitter and says, "extreme Trumpism and white victimization motivated the Las Vegas shooter."
How does he know? How could he possibly know that? It gets worse. The guy then says that "white people and men will go on shooting sprees when they don't get what they want." Let me repeat that. This is a college professor at a decent university, Drexel, who says, "white people and men will go on shooting sprees when they don't get what they want."
Drexel University says, "oh well the professor's tweets don't represent the university's views." Well, wait a minute. This nut has been with you for a long time. In the past, he has tweeted that "all I want for Christmas is white genocide." That's a threat. And then he said he almost vomited when an airline passenger gave up his first-class seat to a uniformed soldier.
OK, so why is this man teaching politics? Why? I don't know. But if you are that incompetent... because I used to be a teacher. If you're that incompetent and hateful, shouldn't the university remove you from the classroom?
So, if a professor at Drexel University said, "you know what, all the murders in Chicago are committed by black people who have no morals," you think he'd be teaching? Think so? I don't know. But it's ok to say vile things about white people. It's acceptable.
This university knew this guy, knows this guy is an extremist. They know, but they allow him to continue to work and teach people in a politics class. I just can't figure it out. So let's bring in someone who's smarter than I am, Jeanne Zaino. She's a Ph.D. and teaches political science at Iona university.
