A new poll says just 27 percent of New Yorkers believe Senator Charles Schumer is doing a good job in office.  The rest know the truth; Schumer lives in a far-left bubble and has repudiated most common-sense problem-solving.

In fact, Chuck IS the problem.  His latest nonsensical take is that voter IDs are racist.  Hey, Senator, every single European country has voter ID laws.  Are they all training for Third Reich status?

At 75 years of age, the Chuckster is long past his prime.  He’s always been a machine politician, but now the warranty has run out. Congresswoman Ocasio-Cortez is warming up to challenge Schumer, and there’s little doubt she’d “wup” him, as Mohammed Ali once said.

With Senator Mitch McConnell finally bailing out, Schumer should take the same path. Senior citizens can provide great wisdom to America, but these two badly need a long rest.  It’s a new world with AI and technology run amuck.  Chuck and Mitch still wear suspenders.

So, say farewell to the Sunshine Boys.  The sunset is right over there.  The early bird special awaits.  There are worse things.
