Memorial Day weekend is here and thank God. Spring has brought bad weather and bad politics. The country is divided, bitter, and heading into a social civil war. We all need a break.

To mark the weekend where many of us think about how Americans lost their lives to protect their country, I interviewed the head of the IndependenceFund.org charity yesterday.  That’s the organization that buys high-tech wheelchairs for vets severely wounded in Iraq  and Afghanistan.  Presto, BOR.com Premium Members donated more than $60,000 dollars which will be matched by an anonymous donor.  That’s eight track chairs with more donations rolling in.

That shows me the power that we still have to do good things; to do the right thing!
