War Crimes. That’s the latest leftist mantra against the American-led action in Iran. The accusation is that the Trump administration is targeting civilians and that violates “international law.”
Only it doesn’t.
After the Hamas attack on October 7, 2023, Israel attacked Gaza, hunting down terrorists. Thousands of civilians were killed because Hamas had set up command and control near civilian situations, like hospitals and schools.
So what was Israel supposed to do? Stop hunting Hamas killers? The Gaza terrorists are responsible for the civilian deaths. Somebody tell Columbia University.
Same thing is happening in Iran, where the murderous Revolutionary Guard is using civilians as shields. They are located near power grids and civilian centers.
The United States is not party to any “war crimes” scenario because it understands the war on terror, which Iran has embraced. Rational people don’t want dead civilians. But if just one nuke is used, there will be plenty of them.
