The police chief of Brooklyn Center, Minnesota, a suburb of Minneapolis, says the officer who shot a black man dead Sunday mistakenly used a gun instead of a taser.

 

The woman is heard on a vest-cam lamenting the error. But how could that happen? There’s a huge difference between a pistol and a taser.  

 

So, it is understandable that fair-minded Americans of all races might be disturbed. The 20-year old African-American was pulled over for expired tags. And now he’s dead.

 

Incidents like this one cripple our society and make it easy for the haters - those who want to destroy this country - to promote violence. Is there a solution?
