Longtime game show host Pat Sajak surprised many Monday by announcing his upcoming retirement from "Wheel of Fortune" after over 40 years on the job.
Sajak is a beloved figure by many.
He's also a conservative who's avoided getting canceled after pictures surfaced of him posing with controversial conservative figures.
There are many that are happy that Sajak will be able to walk away on his own terms.
