Heat makes us cranky. I lived in Miami and Dallas for a period of time. One time, there were 36 consecutive days over 100 degrees in Dallas.
Psychologically, heat drains your energy. It’s important to conserve energy. Remember to take it easy.
I don’t recommend jogging, I don’t know if that’s a good thing to do. If you can swim, you should swim – I’m always swimming in the summer.
Eating light is important, too. Fruit, sherbet and gelato are great options to enjoy in the heat.
Finally, be sure to enjoy summer. We are already halfway through, so try to have fun. |
