Making Decisions
August 19, 2020

Decision making is something we all have to do. It’s easy to put off making a decision, but you don’t want to wait too long – that’s called procrastination.

It’s important to pick a deadline date, I call it a drop dead point – you must decide by this time.  Make a note of this date in your calendar, this way you don’t forget about it.

If you wait too long in making your decision, disaster can unfold, which is never a good thing.

For example, just today I had to decide which studio I was going to broadcast our final show this week. There were many factors involved and it was a tough decision.

I finally made a decision about 24 hours before logistic issues kicked in, which gave everyone on my staff enough time to adjust.

So, make your decisions. Things tend to clarify the closer you get to the deadline, so take your time – but not too long. Be smart about it.
