President Trump’s speech last night was designed to reassure the country that the end is near in Iran. Most likely true but he was largely speaking to a hostile audience who have largely turned on Mr. Trump.
Millions of people don’t care about nukes or terrorism or Hormuz. They are concerned primarily about themselves and hide behind virtue to oppose America’s action which is not a venal exercise no matter what the Trump-haters say.
Don’t think there is anything the President can do to change that. Weakness is spreading all over the globe and believe me Putin and China know it. I guess my next book will have to be “Not Confronting Evil.”
