Holiday Planning
December 7, 2020

It’s just about 3 weeks until Christmas – and each day, new holiday stuff comes in that I have to deal with. I also have to work, raise the urchins, maintain the house, as well as other things.

Every time something new pops up, I write it down and add it to my big calendar. It’s impossible to remember everything without the calendar.

I get tons of charity solicitations. I have a system where I validate the charities before is send checks out – but that takes time.

Since social obligations are cut down by Covid, I’m upping my present giving – little gifts. Not big things. I want people to know that I’m thinking about them on the holidays.

Christmas is a day of generosity. Even if you don’t buy into the religious aspect of it, the whole holiday season is about generosity.

Generosity of spirit is important. If you know someone is lonely, give them a call or bake them some cookies.

The holiday season can be hectic – but follow my advice and try not to become frazzled.
