Even though the dimmest among us has to know things are far more expensive than even a year ago, they don't understand why, generally speaking.
And many Americans are simply too lazy to apply themselves in order to find out why.
That might take time away from fantasy football or gaming on your device. Following the news cycle is boring for some. So they won't do it.
Low information voters are a big problem. A recent Annenberg study says fewer than half of American adults know the three branches of government. Thus, many allow incompetence and deceit simply because they don't know what's going on.
And that crew is growing. Fast.
