That’s because evidence not directly tied in to the actual shooting was excluded.

 

I said last night that Attorney General Sessions now has to charge Zarate with felony violations of immigration law. That despicable man, convicted of numerous felonies, should serve serious time in a federal prison. I expect the Justice Department will do that.

 

Of course Congress should have passed Kate’s Law a long time ago. Any foreign national who returns to the USA after being deported should be incarcerated. Period.

 

The reason Kate’s Law is not on the books is because former Senator Harry Reid killed it when the Democrats controlled the Senate, and Republican Senator Mitch McConnell would not introduce the legislation as a stand alone bill. These two men sabotaged a desperately needed law.

 

Throughout this horror, the Steinle family has been heroic. How much anguish they’ve suffered! What a disgrace that something like this could happen in America.
