The cacophony is deafening. Iran won the war. No, the terror state is crippled. Wait, Trump is humiliated, and Israel weakened. No, the Mullahs are contained.
On and on.
Not here. I am going to tell you precisely what happened. Truth is on the way.
WATCH WE'LL DO IT LIVE! WITH LELAND VITTERT
We begin with some irony. For the first time in my life, liberal Democrats apparently want to fight. Its punditry is bellowing that President Trump “didn’t finish the job.” Or something. I guess the libs want thousands of bodies in the sand over there. “Let’s go get them” replaces “give peace a chance.”
The pro-Israel folks want more military action as well, so they’re teed off. In fact, most Americans are angry as well as confused. What the deuce really happened?
Here it is.
Plan A. In February, Israeli intelligence picked up a meeting of Uranian leaders where they would all be live, in person. President Trump green-lighted an air strike; the thinking being that the Iranian people might rise up once the leadership was dead.
However, the remaining power brokers in Iran quickly executed dissenters, and no overthrow happened.
Then the new regime increased its army to 190,000 and began economic warfare, disrupting the oil flow out of Hormuz. Worldwide prices began to rise.
Apparently, the Pentagon war gamers did not have a strategy in place to stop the Hormuz field of battle.
President Trump justified attacking Iran in the first place by saying the terror state was close to manufacturing a nuclear bomb. But the President did not provide specific backup for his assertion, giving his opponents at home and abroad an opening to undermine the war’s premise.
And undermine they did. Facing higher gas and food costs, the American public quickly turned against the campaign, labeling it “Trump’s War.”
Democrats then ran wild, saying President Obama’s treaty with Iran effectively contained the nuclear threat, so no war was necessary.

But that is not true. The last Iranian nuclear assessment, in which the U.S. participated, was made ten years ago, soon after Donald Trump’s first inauguration. Inspectors did find uranium at the Natanz facility.
President Trump believes the Mullahs are close to a nuclear weapon and points to the lax inspection demands contained in the Obama deal. That’s why Natanz was bombed a year ago. The Mullahs refused to allow inspectors access, so the bombers flew.

Facts are difficult to evaluate because both American political parties are using Iran’s nuclear ambitions to gain power. It's propaganda run wild. In the meantime, Iran could allow inspections tomorrow but will not. Suspicious for sure.
Because Plan A didn’t work, Plan B is now in motion. Bribe the villains. The President faces depression/recession possibilities, so he has decided to buy some time.
The situation changes every hour. No one knows if peace can be bought, especially when dealing with terrorists. Few are telling the truth about the matter.
But now you have heard it. The terror villains in Tehran have survived for the moment. But don’t be deceived; more turbulence lies ahead.
