Holding People Accountable
October 26, 2020

Most people are not confrontational. I can be a confrontational guy, I don’t seek conflict – but I won’t back away from it.

However, we live in a world where people do bad things. For example, about 50% of the vendors I do business with, try to rip me off. They know I’m affluent and they don’t think I’m paying attention.

This drives me crazy. I always get 2 or 3 estimates when I’m getting work done through a vendor – some are just too dishonest.

So, when someone tries to rip me off, I don’t just take it. I always ask them if they’re trying to rip me off – even though they never admit to it.

It’s important in this world to hold people accountable when they do something dishonest.

You don’t have to do it in a mean way – but look people in the eyes and let them know what they’re doing isn’t right.
