The ordeal of Joe Biden should be taught to every school child in the country.  That’s because the lesson is timeless: just when things look bleakest, a turnaround happens.

 

The former Vice President can thank the late Fidel Castro for his surge.  Once Bernie Sanders put his stamp of semi-approval on the brutal Cuban dictator that was it. Powerful Democrats said “we can’t do this.” Bernie will get slaughtered by Trump.

 

At the same time, the media chieftains, who often commiserate with democrat leadership, came to the same conclusion. Presto, Bernie became a “fringe” candidate. Biden was the only choice left.

 

We live in a country where power matters. Bernie got steamrolled by behind the scenes power.
