Remember way back in June of 2024 when the Great Prevaricator Karine Jean-Pierre popularized the term ‘cheap fakes?’  She was urging us to not believe our lyin’ eyes and insisting that all those videos of Joe Biden looking lost were deceptive.  The media eagerly followed KJP’s lead, and the cable networks were filled with White House sycophants chanting the ‘cheap fakes’ mantra.

Of course, the videos weren’t fake at all, but now there are some Democrats and media types who are the human version of ‘cheap fakes.’  Two men stand out as the cream of this rotten crop.  One is Chuck Schumer, who is well past his sell-by date but remains the most powerful Democrat in the Senate.  Schumer unveiled a new and slippery tactic last week when he was asked about Joe Biden’s mental decline.  His terse and oft-repeated reply: ‘We’re looking forward!’  So the Senate’s top Democrat is totally mum on perhaps the most dangerous cover-up in American history.  It’s no mystery why his ‘favorable’ rating, according to a recent CNN poll, sits at 17%.  Wave goodbye to Chuck, say hello to Senator AOC.

An even more odious ‘cheap fake’ is CNN’s Jake Tapper, co-author of a new book about the Biden cover-up.  The oleaginous anchor spent years declaring that Joe Biden was pretty darned nimble and astute.  He claimed Joe’s verbal lapses were due to a stutter and described the president as mentally ‘sharp.’  Last June, just before the debate debacle, Tapper ridiculed Wall Street Journal reporting that revealed the president’s cognitive slippage.  That was Tapper then, a stark contrast to Tapper now.  While Jake tepidly admits that he could have been more aggressive, he blames the White House for misleading the public, the press, and even Cabinet members.

If you’re reading this, if you have eyes and ears, if you watch something other than MSNBC, you knew long ago that Joe Biden was not a well man and in some stage of dementia.  Veteran reporter Mark Halperin says he noticed Biden’s decline as early as 2017, and he is now denouncing Jake Tapper for participating in ‘the biggest media scandal in American history.’  Halperin mocks Tapper for swallowing and ingesting the spin and for ‘hiding the truth.’

Chuck Schumer and Jake Tapper are liars, frauds, and cheap fakes.  They know it, most Americans know it, and probably even Karine Jean-Pierre knows it.  They are the personification of the term she infamously made famous.
