Robert Francis Kennedy, a great American politician, resigned his post as U.S. Attorney General in his brother JFK's administration on September 3, 1963. During his tenure, he exposed the racketeer control of labor unions. Furthermore, his work on civil rights led to protections regarding black Americans' right to vote.
